The dominant element in the image is the clenched fist breaking through a light blue and white Star of David. In the background, various American company logos are visible: Pepsi, Pizza Hut, McDonald’s and Coke. The caption reads: “qati‘uhum” (“boycott them”). The image was a link in the side bar menu of the site and appeared with the site’s statements regarding the death of Usama bin Ladin. It also appeared on several other websites and forums. The image plays into conspiracy theories in the Arab world regarding Jewish world domination in general and Jewish propriety of (or stronghold over) all American brand names in particular. Boycotting American companies and brands is portrayed in the image as having the capacity to break Jewish power and weaken Israel, the Jewish state.
