The CTC’s Distinguished Chair, GEN (Ret) John P. Abizaid delivered a keynote address at the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism’s (ICT) 13th Annual World Summit on Counter-Terrorism in Herzliya, Israel on 9 September. The Conference draws over 1,000 of the top counterterrorism policymakers, experts, and advisers from all corners of the world. Additionally, GEN(Ret) Abizaid was the keynote speaker at a special September 11th Memorial Ceremony in Herzliya that also featured an address by the U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Ambassador Daniel B. Shapiro. The CTC would like to thank Dr. Boaz Ganor, Director of the ICT, and Dr. Assaf Moghadam, Senior Lecturer at the ICT and current CTC Fellow, for the opportunity to develop stronger ties between our two organizations.
