The Combating Terrorism Center conducted a special trip section to New York City on November 7th with over 40 cadets. The morning included two academic panels on terrorism and homeland defense at the National September 11th Memorial and Museum which included perspectives from the FDNY, FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force, National Guard, the U.S. Attorney’s Office, and the media. Ambassador Michael Sheehan, the CTC’s Distinguished Chair, gave the keynote address. The afternoon included a guided tour of the memorial and several case briefings at the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force.
