On March 25-26, Don Rassler participated in the “Intelligence, National Security, and War” Workshop at the U.S. Naval War College; an event which was designed to examine successes, challenges and failures of intelligence in five key areas – policymaking, counterinsurgency, security cooperation, counterterrorism and cyberspace operations. As a speaker on a counterterrorism panel that also included Dr. Frank “Scott” Douglas, Dr. Thomas Hegghammer and Kim Symes, Don shared his thoughts about the evolution of the terrorism studies field and current and future intelligence challenges.
