On 10 October, the Combating Terrorism Center was honored to host Bryan Paarmann, Special Agent in Charge, FBI Counterterrorism Division and Joint Terrorism Task Force in New York City, when he traveled to West Point to guest lecture in SS464 Homeland Security and Defense. Mr. Paarmann, a 1988 West Point graduate, focused on the challenges faced in domestic counterterrorism, and the tools at the FBI’s disposal in undertaking the counterterrorism mission. He walked the cadets through the investigative process, from suspicion of terrorism connections to an arrest.
