On Sunday, 17 July, CNN published an article by CTC Sentinel editor-in-chief Paul Cruickshank on the terror attack in Nice, France. The article–“Attacker Mohamed Bouhlel: Why did he launch rampage?”–also featured a map created by the CTC showing the distribution of Islamic State fighters from France (2013-2014).
