On January 8, the Combating Terrorism Center hosted GEN Lloyd J. Austin III, commander of U.S. Central Command. CTC leadership briefed GEN Austin as well as BG Peter Gallagher (CENTCOM J6) on the work of the Center and its research on the Islamic State.
