Meet Cadet Sarah Cao, the CTC Cadet of the Month for January 2025. Sarah is double majoring in international affairs and Chinese at West Point, with a minor in terrorism studies. She is a Stamps scholar, Winant scholar, and Stokes writing fellow. Sarah has interned at the Center for Naval Analyses and the U.S. Mission to the United Nations. Her research examines cross-strait relations and economic statecraft. She has presented her work at a total of six conference panels.
Cadet Cao is a Battalion Commander and leader on the International Affairs Forum and Chinese Language and Cultural Association. As a Rhodes Scholar, Sarah plans on reading for an MPhil in International Relations. After Oxford, Sarah will serve as a Military Intelligence Officer.
