Meet CDT Reagan Overtion, the CTC’s Cadet of the Month for November 2023. CDT Overton is from Lutz, Florida, and her parents are John and Lori Overton. She is a senior majoring in American Politics with a minor in Terrorism Studies. Within the corps, she is the Battalion S1 for three of the companies in her Regiment, which means she is in charge of accountability for a little over 300 cadets. Reagan is a proud member of the West Point Rabble Rousers cheer team, loves to spend time with friends, and meet new people.
Since being in the Terrorism Studies minor, Reagan has had the opportunity to intern with the Joint Terrorism Task Force in the FBI New York City Field Office. In this role, she conducted intelligence analysis and learned more about how the FBI collaborates with other government agencies to complete their mission. Reagan contributed to active investigations by producing different intelligence products and verifying any intelligence that was gathered.
Reagan will commission in the United States Army as a Military Police officer. After commissioning, Reagan hopes to attend graduate school to eventually come back to West Point as an instructor. In the future, Reagan hopes to transition from Military Police to working for a government agency within the intelligence community.
