The CTC Sentinel’s article on French and Belgian fighters within the Islamic State received tremendous international press coverage after its release last week. Entitled “The Islamic State’s External Operations and the French-Belgian Nexus,” the article was written by Jean-Charles Brisard and Kévin Jackson and outlines the latest findings from the ongoing investigations into the Paris and Brussels attacks. The article was featured in some of the largest European publications, from Le Figaro, AFP, The Daily Telegraph to Le Monde, La Libre, De Morgen, and Le Journal du Dimanche.
