The CTC is proud to announce the new editorial team for the CTC Sentinel, the Center’s flagship publication.
Mr. Paul Cruickshank will serve as Editor-in-Chief of the Sentinel. In this capacity he will manage the design, development, content, and publication of the Sentinel. He will provide strategic direction and will ensure the content of the Sentinel remains objective, relevant, and rigorous. To do this Mr. Cruickshank will rely on his wealth of experience both researching and reporting on terrorism issues. He regularly appears on-air as CNN’s Terrorism Analyst, and his writings have appeared in a wide variety of publications. His most recent book is the 2014 co-authored “Agent Storm: My Life Inside al Qaeda and the CIA.” (For full bio, click here)
Mr. John Watling will serve as Managing Editor for the CTC. In this capacity he will support the editing of the Sentinel and will also manage the editing and production of the CTC’s other research products. Mr. Watling has 25 years of editing experience, including 10 as a Senior Editor at the Eurasia Group.
The Sentinel team will be working on a number of needed enhancements to improve its presentation and incorporate more dynamic visuals while maintaining the type of quality content you have come to expect in the Sentinel.
