The CTC completed its semi-annual Downing Weekend for the officers in the General Wayne A. Downing Scholarship Program. The program provides a fully funded graduate education to selected officers in the Maneuver, Fires, and Effects branches and then sends them right back to the operational force as their utilization tour. Downing Scholars attend the world’s elite universities, including Stanford, Harvard, Princeton, Yale, King’s College, Fletcher, Columbia, and Georgetown. The CTC brings the Downing Scholars back to West Point each semester and facilitates unique CT experiences for them during the summer in-between their two academic years.
