Cover Story Overview

Al-Qa`ida in Yemen’s 2008 Campaign

Following the dramatic escape of 23 al-Qa`ida suspects from a Political Security prison in Sana`a in early February 2006, there has been a fear that Yemen could once again become an active theater of operations for Islamic militants.
