This is a report from Abu `Abdullah on his time as commander of Border Sector 1. It also illustrates how funds
were spent during that time. It shows that Sector 1 was short of funds, from 15 March 2006 to 20 July 2006, since the suicide brothers brought no money, and the brothers in Syria did not provide any funds. Abu `Abdullah received US$22,000.00 from Hamzah, emir of Mosul, and spent it, among other things, on a car in Syria, transportation, smugglers’ fees, and salaries.
