On December 20th and 21st the CTC welcomed current Downing Scholars MAJs Vanessa Bowman, Don Caterna, Matt Chaney, Erik Davis, Dave Hensel and Jody Daigle to West Point. In addition to providing an opportunity for the Downing Scholars to meet CTC faculty and staff, this event, organized by Joe Quinn, allowed the Downing scholars to share feedback on their experience thus far and discuss their individual programs of study and research with CTC faculty.
The General Wayne A. Downing Scholarship program offers select Army Officers, from all commissioning sources in the Maneuver, Fires, and Effects branches, the opportunity to attend a fully funded graduate education at top-tier universities around the world.
