Research conducted by CTC Downing Scholar Caitlin Conley and her colleagues at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at the Harvard Kennedy School was recently featured by several leading news outlets, including The Associated Press, The Washington Post, and Politico. Entitled “The State and Local Election Cybersecurity Playbook,” the report features technical recommendations for state and local election administrators on how to defend against cyber attacks and other information operations against elections. The report is one of three guides produced by the Kennedy School’s Defending Digital Democracy Project (D3P), of which Conley serves as executive director.
