The Combating Terrorism Center is pleased to welcome Mikki Franklin as its newest intern. Mikki is currently working toward her master’s degree in non-proliferation and terrorism studies at Middlebury Institute of International Studies. Last summer, she attended the Middlebury College Language Arabic School and speaks advanced Arabic.
Mikki graduated Magna Cum Laude from Allegheny College with a BA in international studies and a minor in religious studies. She also studied abroad at Hebrew University in the Dynamics of Middle East Politics and Society Program and interned at the Harry S. Truman Research Institute for the Advancement of Peace. Mikki has also worked with Senator John Boozman, the Center for Political Participation, and taught english to bedouin villages in the Southern Negav.
