Rachel Yon is an Associate Professor and Executive Officer in the Combating Terrorism Center at the United States Military Academy where she currently runs the Center’s multi-million dollar budget and teaches classes in the Combating Terrorism Center’s Terrorism Minor, the American Politics stem of the Department of Social Sciences, and in the Law Department. Her research concentrations are in the fields of Public Policy, American Government, and Methodology. Her current research interests include the public policy making process with a concentration on legislation that has been passed on the juvenile justice system and disproportionate female and minority contact. She completed a J.D. at the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2004 with a specialization in Family Law and was admitted to the Florida Bar that same year. She completed her Ph.D. in Political Science at the University of Florida in the summer of 2015.
