Major Rahul Singh graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2010 and was commissioned through the Officer Candidate School as an Infantry Officer. As a lieutenant, Rahul served in the 101st Airborne Division as an Assistant Operations Officer and Reconnaissance Platoon Leader, deploying to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
As a Special Forces Officer, Rahul was assigned to 1st Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) where he served as a SFOD-A Detachment Commander, SF Company Commander, and Battalion Executive Officer. Rahul has deployed persistently throughout Asia and in support of Operation Pacific Eagle – Philippines.
As a Downing Scholar, Rahul earned a Master in Public Administration at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government in 2023. He currently resides with his family in Kansas City, MO where he works for USASOC within Operations Group – Juliet.
