Captain Kendall Ward commissioned as an Infantry Officer from the United States Military Academy in 2014. He served as a Rifle Platoon Leader in the 173rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team in Vicenza, Italy and deployed to Latvia in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve. Following his assignment in Italy, Kendall served as a Ranger Rifle Platoon Leader in 1stRanger Battalion in Savannah, GA, and deployed to Afghanistan twice in support of a Special Operations Joint Task Force.

Following the Special Forces Qualification Course, Kendall served as a Detachment Commander and Battalion Support Company Commander in 1st Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group in Fort Bragg, NC. He deployed to Tunisia and Mauritania in support of security cooperation objectives during his time at Fort Bragg. Kendall is currently serving in Special Operations Command Korea as an assistant Operations Officer.

Kendall is a graduate of the Infantry Basic Officer Leader Course, Army Special Operations Forces Captains Career Course, Special Forces Qualification Course, U.S. Army Ranger School, and the Static Line Jumpmaster Course.

Kendall is married to the former Marion Copeland of Garrison, NY.
