CPT Gabe Dearman was born at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, and is a second-generation artilleryman. Gabe enlisted into the United States Army as a Motor Transport Operator in March 2003. Gabe commissioned into the Field Artillery through the ROTC program at the University of Southern Mississippi in May 2008. He has worked in a variety of positions while assigned to the 81st Regional Support Command, 4th Infantry Division, 25th Infantry Division, and the 75th Ranger Regiment. Most recently, Gabe served as the Fire Support Officer for 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment. His service includes eight deployments in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, and Freedom’s Sentinel. Gabe will attend Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service and pursue a Master of Arts in Security Studies.
CPT Dearman is married to the former Breanna Willoughby of British Columbia, Canada. They have one son (Gus) and are expecting their second son (Sam) during Gabe’s first semester.
