Captain Dalton Fuss graduated from Texas A&M University in 2012 and commissioned as an Infantry officer. In his first assignment to the 101st Airborne Division, he served as a Rifle and Heavy Weapons Platoon Leader. In this assignment, Dalton deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

As a Special Forces Officer, Dalton served as a Detachment Commander in 10th Special Forces Group where he deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Resolute Support. He also served as the Group Assistant Operations Officer and the Commander of the Group Headquarters Company.

Dalton’s military education includes the Infantry Basic Officer Leader’s Course, Ranger School, Airborne School, Air Assault School, Special Operations Forces Captains Career Course, Special Forces Qualification Course, and Military Free Fall School.

Dalton is pursuing a Master of Arts in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies. He is married to Captain Nicole Fuss.
