Captain Brett Schuck graduated from West Point in 2012 and commissioned as an Infantry Officer. In his first assignment to the 101st Airborne Division, he served as a Rifle Platoon Leader. In this assignment, Brett deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Also, as a Lieutenant, Brett served as a Mechanized Platoon Leader and Executive Officer in the 1st Armored Division.

As a Special Forces Officer, Brett served as a Detachment Commander in 3rd Special Forces Group where he deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Resolute Support. He also served as the Chief of Staff for a Special Operations Task Force as well as the Battalion Headquarters Company Commander.

Brett’s military education includes the Infantry Basic Officer Leader’s Course, Ranger School, Airborne School, Air Assault School, Special Operations Forces Captains Career Course, Special Forces Qualification Course, and Military Free Fall School.  Brett will be pursuing a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from Tufts University’s Fletcher School, starting this fall.
