On Friday, 18 November, MG(P) Raymond “Tony” Thomas visited the Combating Terrorism Center. MG(P) Thomas, the former Commander of Special Operations Joint Task Force-Afghanistan, is currently the Associate Director at the CIA for Military Affairs in Langley, Virginia. In addition to receiving a briefing from the CTC’s Director, MAJ Bryan Price, and Senior Fellow LTG(R) Dell Dailey, MG(P) Thomas conducted a roundtable discussion with Center faculty about pressing counterterrorism concerns in South Asia, Syria, and Africa. LTC Liam Collins, former CTC Director and current Director of Defense and Strategic Studies, was also in attendance.
