On 7 July, Fox News cited a January 2017 CTC Perspective article that analyzed internal Islamic State documents regarding its drone program. The Fox News article, entitled “Homeland Security concerned about commercial drones being used for ‘nefarious purposes'” and written by Jason Kopp, examined the growing threat of the group using unmanned aircraft systems against its enemies.
