The Combating Terrorism Center’s latest report, “Exploding Stereotypes: The Unexpected Operational and Demographic Characteristics of Boko Haram’s Suicide Bombers,” has been featured by CNN in both a news article and a video report. “Exploding Stereotypes,” which was written by CTC Africa expert Dr. Jason Warner and Hilary Matfess at Yale University, offers important findings based on an original, extensive dataset of all Boko Haram suicide bombings from April 2011 to June 2017.
