On 12 November 2014, CTC Deputy Director Brian Dodwell briefed The Interdiction Committee (TIC) Principals’ Meeting in Miami, FL on the CTC’s research on the connectivity between terrorist and criminal networks. He presented key findings of the CTC report Risky Business: The Global Threat Network and the Politics of Contraband by Dr. Scott Helfstein. TIC principals meet to discuss and resolve issues related to the coordination, oversight, and integration of international, border, and domestic drug interdiction efforts in support of the President’s National Drug Control Strategy.
