The CTC briefed GEN Charles Jacoby, Commander of US Northern Command and NORAD on Thursday, 21 August at the Center. In what was a follow-up engagement to his Center visit in 2013, GEN Jacoby received a Center update from MAJ(P) Bryan Price and two research briefings from Center faculty, one on the nexus between transnational criminal organizations and the other on the contemporary foreign fighter threat from Syria and Iraq. Following the briefing, GEN Jacoby presented the CTC with a NORTHCOM plaque for the Center’s work in informing security policy regarding threats to the homeland.
