
Steven Musholt is a native of Quincy, Illinois. He graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2017 with a B.S. in Systems Engineering and commissioned as an Infantry Officer. In his first assignment, Steven served as a Heavy Weapons Platoon Leader and Scout Platoon Leader in the 173rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne) in Vicenza, Italy. He then served as a Ranger Platoon Leader and Company Executive Officer in the 3rd Ranger Battalion.
Following the completion of the Maneuver Captain’s Career Course, Steven was assigned to the 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team at Fort Carson, Colorado where he served as the Brigade Chief of Operations, a Battalion Assistant Operations Officer, and Stryker Company Commander. Steven has deployed two times in support of the global war on terror and one time to the Republic of Korea.
His military education includes the Infantry Basic Officer Leader Course, Ranger School, Sapper Leader Course, Airborne School, Air Assault School, Jumpmaster School, and the Maneuver Captain’s Career Course.
Steve is married to Candice Musholt (Humphrey) of Johns Creek, Georgia.
