Captain Christian Reeves commissioned as an Infantry Officer after graduating from the United States Military Academy in 2014. As a Lieutenant, Christian served as a Rifle Platoon Leader and Scout Platoon Leader with 2nd Cavalry Regiment in Vilseck, Germany.
As a Special Forces Officer, Christian served as a Detachment Commander, Troop Commander, Company Executive Officer, and Battalion Headquarters Company Commander in 5th Special Forces Group at Fort Campbell, KY. During this time, he deployed twice in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.
His military education includes the Infantry Basic Officer Leader Course, Ranger School, Airborne School, Jumpmaster School, Special Operations Forces Captains Career Course, Special Forces Qualification Course, Military Freefall Course, Combat Diver Qualification Course, and Special Forces Advanced Reconnaissance Target Analysis and Exploitation Techniques Course (SFARTAETC).
Christian is married to Jessica Newman of San Diego, California.
