Chris Smith is a native of North Wales, PA. He graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2014 and commissioned as an Infantry Officer before ultimately becoming a Special Forces Officer. He has served in conventional and special operations units throughout his career and has led at the Platoon, Detachment, and Company level. He has deployed multiple times in support of the Global War on Terror. Chris is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Policy at the Yale Jackson School of Global Affairs with a focus on U.S. foreign policy and the intersection between AI, emerging technologies, and national security.
