Captain Nicholas Dockery commissioned as an Infantry Officer after graduating the United States Military Academy in 2011. As a Lieutenant, Nick served as a Rifle Platoon Leader, Company Executive Officer and Security Force Advisor with the 4th Brigade, 4th Infantry Division.
As a Special Forces Officer, Nick was assigned to 7th Special Forces Group where he commanded both the Group Headquarters Company and Operational Detachment-Alpha 744. He deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Freedoms Sentinel, and other operational roles to Costa Rica and Colombia. Currently, Nick serves as the Aide-de-Camp for the Commanding General of 1st Special Forces Command, Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
Nick is the 2017 recipient of the West Point Alexander R. Nininger Award for Valor at Arms and a 2020 recipient of the General Douglas MacArthur Leadership Award. Nick also received two Silver Stars, three Bronze Stars, two Purple Hearts, and the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal.
