On 9 November, the Combating Terrorism Center hosted FBI Assistant Director of the Directorate of Intelligence Jorge Garcia. Following a command brief by CTC leadership and a discussion about the long-standing relationship between the CTC and FBI, Mr. Garcia met with cadets to discuss law enforcement career options as well as lectured cadets in CTC Director LTC Bryan Price’s SS466 Combating Terrorism class. Mr. Garcia is a 1982 USMA graduate and served for 12 years in infantry, Ranger, and aviation units, to include a combat tour as an Apache attack helicopter company commander with the 101st Airborne Division during the 1991 Gulf War.
